This Tournament was started by Frank Longeway back in 1993 and is now the longest running multi-center bowling tournament in Toledo. It was picked up by Charlie & Sheryl Deck and Bryan Tinsley back in 2004 to keep it going.
It started in 1993 at Rossford Lanes and Airport Lanes with only 13 teams, having 4 teams cashing, and it started selling out shortly there after. Very little has changed since it began. The team cap used to be 900 and was raised to 1000 back in 2004. The cost for the 7th annual tournament was $28.00 per bowler back in 1999. One thing that has NOT changed is that all monies brought in go back to the prize fund for the bowlers minus the center’s lineage fees. It has been a packed sell-out tournament since 2004.
